「即興劇」是一種即興劇場演出，在演員沒有劇本下，通過觀眾所給予的點子而進行的演出。我們希望透過即興，陪伴大家突破內心不必要的自我審查，更願意在群體中分享自己最真實的想法，建立人與人之間真誠的信任與連結。
What comes to mind when you think of Sheung Wan? The Central and Western District, rich in history and human warmth, is home to a lot of community stories. In this event, we’ll use “theatre” as a medium to engage in direct dialogue with you and explore the stories of the Central and Western District together.
“Improvisational theatre” is a form of performance in which actors, without a script, create a show based on ideas provided by the audience. Through improvisation, we hope to help you overcome unnecessary self-censorship, feel more comfortable sharing your most authentic thoughts within a group, and build genuine trust and connections with one another.

因乜解究應用戲劇始於2023年，由一群熱愛以應用戲劇連結人與社區的青年藝術家組成。他們相信，戲劇不僅是藝術創作，更是一種參與社區及連結街坊的媒介。透過挖掘社區故事與關注議題，於社區的不同空間中進行社區劇場和即興劇的形式呈現。在促進社區對話和創作的同時，亦期許於社區的脈絡、故事、互動中，重新發現表達的不同可能……
Why Applied Theatre was founded in 2023 by a group of young artists passionate about connecting people and communities through applied theatre. They believe that theatre is not merely an artistic creation, but a medium for community participation and local engagement. By digging into community stories and pressing issues, they present their work in various community spaces through community theatre and playback/improvised theatre formats. While fostering community dialogue and creative expression, they also hope to rediscover diverse possibilities of expression within the context, stories, and interactions of the community.
